David comes to EVOBEAN from the quaint Pennsylvania town of Klecknersville.  It was there that he was introduced to Andrew through a mutual friend  and a lifelong friendship began.

In 2001 David, Andrew and a group of idealistic college friends headed to Colorado in pursuit of life’s adventure and David’s degree in professional aviation. Over the next three years he went to school and worked as a professional flight instructor.

Armed with nothing but a flight logbook and 850 hours he headed to Alaska.  Dave graduated college while flying Juneau, Alaska’s challenging and beautiful terrain.  Next, he would take a position in the US Virgin Islands and Nantucket before returning to Denver as a First Officer with SkyWest Airlines.  Coming full circle could not have been a more satisfying experience

Over the next three years Dave developed his entrepreneurial instincts with a raw, Main St. education.  Building a business to benefit the quality of life of his fellow professional flyers he spent his layovers and days off reading, typing, researching and running the start-up gamut.  He loved every second and found immense satisfaction in the challenge and opportunity to be creative.  Then came EVOBEAN.

As most would agree the biggest mistake you can make from day one is picking the wrong partners.  Knowing that he needed someone who loved coffee and business, Andrew was the obvious choice.  The guy could drink 8 cups a day as he ran his business! Over breakfast and of course a cup of coffee, the vision was made clear and Andrew was on board; enter, Mark Laliberte.

A long-time friend of David, Mark was a man who knew about the environment and companies that worked to make it better, not to mention he had been seasoning his business skills for over 30 years!  It was on a random afternoon that the two spoke about the concept and Mark’s mind saw the potential immediately.  Over one more cup of coffee the three men would solidify the EVO-Team.  The evolution of EVOBEAN had begun.

Outside of the business sphere, David enjoys spending his time doing most anything that does not include watching TV.  From snowboarding, to camping, golf, cooking, general travel and the like, he is always in search of great food, wine, company and amazing views.
